Biography

Billy Petersen is a lecturer and writer. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Classics (Latin) from the University of Florida, and his Master’s degree in English from the University of North Florida. He is passionate about language and literature, and over the years, his work has taken him from teaching reading and writing to students of all ages, and developing content as a copywriter for one of the world’s largest website development and hosting companies. His stories and essays have appeared in a variety of American and British academic and literary journals. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida. In his free time, he enjoys going out with his children, catching up with old friends, and, of course, sitting down to read and write.
